Conversion of an object into a product so that it can be traded in the market is called commercialization. It is the process of introducing a new product or production method into commerce. In previous days education was shared among people for free of cost, but these days it’s being sold. This is an example of commercialization.

Social and economic order and ideology that encourages the acquisition of goods and services in ever-increasing amounts is called consumerism. Given options like people spending a lot of money in acquiring goods and excessive consumption of goods and services are the characteristics of consumerism.

Caste system or social stratification of people has been prevalent in India since Vedic times. The end of Colonial rule brought about a modern development in an urge to eliminate caste inequalities and secure equal opportunities to all people. Irrespective of caste people can seem to engage in works where they can earn their daily bread. Economic development and equal participation eliminated caste disparities to an extent in India.

Nelson Mandela was a non-violent anti-apartheid activist, politician, and philanthropist who was also South Africa's first black president from 1994 to1999. For about 20 years, he directed a campaign of peaceful, nonviolent defiance against the South African government and its racist policies. A symbol of global peacemaking, he also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 for his efforts to dismantle the Racist or Apartheid system in South Africa.
