Tyres are made of thick rubbers and polymers and once they get wasted by friction and travelling through cars, they have the capacity to be reused in making shoes and chappals for daily wear and thereby disposing of the waste in an efficient manner.

The Environment Protection act was protective legislation enacted by the parliament in the year 1986, to combat environmental degradation and to lay down rules and regulation for use of the environment and natural resources and to provide liability and penalty for the violators. It seeks to provide the protection and improvement of the environment and other such related matters comprehensively.

Plastic is a non-biodegradable material. It cannot be disposed of naturally in the environment by the actions of microorganisms. It lasts longer in the environment and harm it while polluting land and water bodies.

Landfill is the place where garbage go when we throw things away.

It is a site used to dump the garbage by burial. It is the oldest method of garbage treatment.

Other names for landfill include tip, dump, rubbish dump, garbage dump or dumping ground.
