There is a huge difference between village life and city life. Food habits in the village are natural as people rely on homemade healthy food such as vegetables and fruits. They grow crops and rear cattle and drink milk to stay healthy and since transportation is not that advance in villages people travel on foot which keeps them fit. While in cities people eat junk food or fast foods and soft drink and due to inappropriate exercise they become vulnerable to many disease like obesity, blood pressure etc.

The movement by people from one place to another with the intentions of settling in the new location is called migration. Migration may be by individuals, family units or in groups. Most of the people get migrated for food, shelter and employment, in present scenario. Migration due to construction of dams is a permanent migration.

Temporary migration is the migration occur due to occupational problems. The temporary movement of people between areas of living and work, usually for the purpose of employment is called circular migration. Person goes to work and returns, but does not settle permanently.

Cities are known for crowded areas, many buildings, Industries and vehicles running on the road. The air in cities is much polluted than villages. There is a lack of plantation in cities which make polluted air remains in the environment. People live in flats and multi-storey buildings.

Raju's father was an engineer in a thermal plant. His father was transferred to a new thermal plant to work there as an engineer, as a result of which Raju's family had to migrate from their original place to the workplace of his father.
