While playing Black against Capablanca, I came up with an ingenious idea of sacrificing a central pawn against the Ruy Lopez for the sake of an attack against the White king. Although Capablanca won the game in the end, the variation, which now bears my name, became one of the most well known and analyzed main lines against the Spanish opening prefered by the likes of Spassky, Anand and Michael Adams.
