Renewable source of energy can be replenished in a very short period of time, sunlight is the constant and inexhaustible source of energy.

Since wind energy is a renewable source of energy it is a never ending source thus it is an inexhaustible source.

Coal/petroleum come under the category of non-renewable resource, once finished it cannot be replenished in a short period of time.

Metals & fossil fuels are non- renewable sources because they cannot be replenished in a shorter period of time, while water is a renewable resource.

• Solar pond is a non-conventional source of energy, which is renewable or inexhaustible and do not cause environment pollution. More over they do not require heavy expenditure. Energy generated by using wind, tides, solar geothermal heat are also non-conventional energy sources.
